Intelligent Mobility Roadshow

Nissan’s suite of Intelligent Mobility technologies is growing at a vast rate. Consumers are now familiar with driver aids such as Intelligent Lane Departure Warning or Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, but Nissan sees itself as a services provider and mobility enabler, meaning they have much more to offer than just driver aids.

This sums up the challenge for Fusion with the IM Roadshow.  We were tasked with creating a touring stand which illustrated (and where possible demonstrated) the Nissan Electric Ecosystem, featuring Intelligent Integration, Driving and Power.

The best way to demonstrate these principles is through an interactive experience, so we set about creating some digital assets. A fully-animated stereoscopic VR experience was designed and built, and we featured an MR (Hololens) enclosure, which allowed customers to watch a Nissan Leaf demonstrate its new ProPilot autonomy.

Our stand, a ‘live diagram’ Intelligent Mobility House which showed the path of electrical energy, visited The Bullring in Birmingham and the MetroCentre in Gateshead, culminating in a presence at the Ideal Home Show, where we added a second storey to increase visibility at height.

The tour ensured that our stand was visited by over 65,000 people, with nearly 2000 of those trying the VR and MR experiences. 91% of our guests claimed our exhibit gave them a greater understanding of Intelligent Mobility.
